Island Park, Yellowstone Trip

We went to Island Park and Yellowstone the end of June with Glen's family. We had a great time and the weather was perfect (and besides the mosquitos) everything was wonderful. Here are some pics. We all took so many, but here are some good ones.

Ally got to ride up from Brigham City to Island Park with Jeff and Haley in their van. Can you tell she was happy to see them? Glen could only come up the last 2 days so, Murray and Kathy picked us up in Brigham City and Isaac and I rode with them. Thanks for letting us hitch a ride!


Murray and Kathy rented a cabin for us. It was called Moose Creek Lodge. It was so nice and had plenty of room for us all. Thanks! This is the whole crew!


The 4 girls got the bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. They decorated the room very pretty. Put up "No BOYS ALLOWED" signs and had their fairies and all their girly stuff. They loved it!

The 3 little boys. They got along very well this trip. Isaac and Hunter had a few runs ins, but nothing to complain about. Give them a few years, they will be getting into some trouble I bet!


We saw lots of wildlife. Moose, Elk, Deer, Buffalo, Bald Eagle, Hawks, Coyote, and a Bear! It was my first bear sighting. The scenery was so beautiful too. The wildflowers were so pretty and in full bloom.

We had a full day in Yellowstone! This is at Upper Falls.

This was at the first of the park. We just pulled over to explore a little and take pictures. There was a bad car accident and the road was closed for a while. So we played around.

We canoed down the Buffalo River in Island Park on Saturday and it was Lori's Birthday. We stopped a couple times to played in the river. It was really pretty.

When it was time to go. Isaac was so sad. He was so happy to be with Grandpa and Grandma. He wanted them the whole time.

Glen and I drove home through Yellowstone, to Jackson Hole, through Soda Springs and back to Logan. It was a beautiful drive the entire way and Glen got to spot a bear and see some of Yellowstone too, since he wasn't there yet the day we went.

We had a great trip and it was so fun to have all the cousins together and to have Kate with us. Kate is Glen's grandpa's daughter from a second marriage. She is a delight and helped so much with the kids. Thanks Kate for everything.
