We had a great afternoon on Saturday. We went up Logan Canyon to Tony Grove Lake. It is truly one of the prettiest places. It was a beautiful day and hot in Logan, but up the canyon it was perfect. We hiked around the lake (through snow banks) and enjoyed just being together. It was so nice to just have some quality family time. Even though my kids are small and we don't have too many activities yet, between church callings, Glen's work and school we seem to have a hard time finding a lot of extra time.The kids are getting good at hiking and really enjoy it.
We saw a little water snake and Isaac thought it was awesome. He is such a boy!
We took a ton of pictures and had a blast!

looks like fun! and i'm sorry to hear about daisy! tell ally she won't be too lonely. our dear little 'link' passed on 3 days after we bought him. and 'twinkle' is still around- although i don't know who is going to feed him while we're gone- thanks for the reminder... i would hate to come home to a dead fish!!!

I think it is so funny that you are talking about a HOT SUMMER DAY and then you mention that you are walking through SNOW BANKS! How funny. We live in two totally different worlds. I love it. It does look beautiful.

It was a hot summer day. It was 90 degrees in Logan. We were up Logan Canyon about an hour and it stays cool there at night especially. But yes, we do live in very different places. :)
I can't believe how blue the lake and sky are!!! Beautiful...btw...were your ears buzzing last night? On RS visits, we were at Holly's and talked about you (all good of course)!!
This place reminds of our family summer vacations when we were little, we used to camp there every summer. How fun! It is fun when your kids start to hike, you just have to remember to be patient at their turtle pace. When am I going to see you?????
