I wrote Glen a letter and had Ally take it up to him on the stand before sacrament and he read it and smiled.
In the letter one thing I put was, 2 degrees, 2 kids, 4 houses + 2 apts, 9 vehicles, lots of moves, 3 sprinkling systems, lots of home projects, trips to Hawaii, San Diego, Yellowstone, North Carolina (2), Florida, lots of camping trips, St. George, Zions, and many more fun things. We have had a great 8 years and loved every minute of it.
I love you Glen.
It was a beautiful (and hot) day to get married. And, it just keeps getting better. As a young woman, I thought a lot about who I wanted to marry and what I wanted my life to be like. I knew and felt like it was the most important decision I would make. When I met Glen, I was surprised at how quickly I realized he was who I wanted to marry, but I truly feel that he is the biggest blessing in my life.
My mom bought us a new crockpot (since I wasn't very smart and broke mine), and I made dinner in it for our anniversary. :) Thanks Mom!A couple weekends ago, we went out to dinner at the Outback and my parents kept the kids. This weekend, Glen had school and we cleaned up the house and did some yardwork to get ready for our family vacation to North Carolina! YEAH! I am so excited to go to the beach and take my kids to the beach, since I spent a lot of time there when I was their age.We are going to my sister Tracy's house. We went to her house in Fort Lauderdale, Fl for our 1st anniversary. So, maybe it's a trend, or maybe it's just a good time to go to the beach. :) Hopefully, the tropical storm/hurricane FAY won't rain on us too much.
