Day at the park (WITH SUPERMAN) 5/12/09

I took 5 kids to the park this day. I had my two kids + Brooklyn and then our friends Jace and Jordan. They were having a great time playing pirates and princesses and running up the big hill. I can tell I am getting to be more relaxed as a mom (for good and bad). I let Isaac wear his Superman costume to the park. I thought I would never let my kids dress up in public...oh well. When you are pregnant and are going somewhere with 5 kids - all those thoughts go out the window! :)

A nice older lady was walking by and stopped and talked to me. She said Isaac was so cute and reminded her of her boys (when they were little...about 40 years ago) - she said that they had cowlicks like Isaac and loved to be superheroes, she also said she misses bouquets of dandelions on her table in the spring! :)

Anyway, she was so sweet and told me to enjoy it even though she knows it is exhausting and difficult. So this is a reminder to myself to enjoy it. And honestly for the most part, I do. I love my kids and my little crazy superman that is totally exhausting! :) Love you kids.
