Last Game in Tiger Gym

The gym i played basketball in at Ogden High School is being renovated for classrooms and they are building a big new gym behind the school They invited all former players to come to this game. It was fun to see lots of old coaches and friends.

Boys Team coaches through the years - there were about 10-12, but these are the 4 I know.

Matt and Mike Russell - Coach Russell's sons. Good friends we have got to know well over the years.

Coach Russell and Coach Brizee. There was only 1 other girls coach since 1970 and she only coached for 2 years and Coach Russell has coached for about 36 years and has 5 state championships! He is amazing. He is still coaching and is also the Athletic Director now at OHS.

Bruce and Cameron - I sat by them at the game.

I found some old pics of me playing in Tiger Gym and some other memories from the gym, I will post later. it's kind of fun to look back and think of all the good times in that gym.

I grew up in this gym watching my older sisters and brother play in that gym and just waiting for the day when it was my turn to play and be on Coach Russell's teams. I spent many hours in that gym practicing, playing bball games, Tiger Esteem weeks, softball practices on stormy days, dances, stomps, assemblies, sneakin in during boys practices to watch. i loved every minute of it and they are some of the best times of my life. i will never forget them.
