Ready for the day! :)
Tulum
What a cool place!
We couldn't decide whether or not to go to some ruins with 6 kids (including a baby), but we did and it was one of my favorite things we did! It was a rainy day and there were little mosquitos eating us alive, but it wasn't hot and the rain cut down on the bugs I think, and so we picked the PERFECT day to go!

It was beautiful!
With the gray buildings, the bright blue ocean, the green plants, it was like paradise.
I can almost imagine the mayan people living there.

On our way back to Playa we asked our driver to go to Akumal.
We heard it was a good place to snorkel.
It was a neat little Lagoon with no waves!
It was great for the kids.
Max even learned to snorkel!

He has loved snorkeling in Mexico, Hawaii, Florida and N.C.
It was Halloween and the resort had things set up for it. The next day is "Day of the Dead" in Mexico too.
There was a guy right after I took this picture hiding behind
the candy table and he scared the
be-geebers
out of Isaac. Isaac was screaming and I was laughing so hard. What a mean mom! Then I went and sent all the other kids back down to get scared! :)
Ally's first Haunted House - this was her before she went in! :)
Me, Macy and Isaac waited outside.
I think it scared Ally pretty bad.
Glen said it was probably PG-13...
there was a butcher cutting up people! Eww.

Then we went to the night show...we hadn't gone before because they were too late and the kids were too tired by then. It was a Halloween/Day of the Dead show. It was a fire-throwing show and we thought it would be cool - it was so creepy and satanic. With really loud screamy music and creepy pictures up on a big screen - we left after about 10 minutes feeling that we needed to wash our hands and talk to our bishop !:) jk.

Tulum was my favorite ruins down there. It's so gorgeous! Did you see any huge lizards on the rocks there by the ocean? They were everywhere when we went.
