Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas Everyone! We are doing great here in Logan and have so many things to be thankful for. Our kids are doing great. We are all healthy and happy (most of the time) and so excited for Christmas!

I have been thinking about the past year and am really starting to see how “time flies” and kids grow up so fast. It’s so fun to see the excitement of learning to ride a 2-wheel bike and the pride of learning to sleep in your own big kid bed. As these moments start to build and my kids get older…I am starting to appreciate them more and love everything about them (good and bad)… I have no greater joy than hearing my kids laugh and play together. It usually only lasts a while and then the fighting sets in, but for those short minutes, it is pure happiness for me. Ally will be 5 in February and Isaac will be 3 in May.

Glen and I have been busy this year. Glen continues to work for Zions Bank still and loves his 3-4 minute commute. He has 10 months left in his MBA program at Utah State University. He is doing very well and we are learning a lot about ourselves as we strive to balance work, school, church, family and home projects!

I have been babysitting a little girl that is Ally’s best friend. They go to preschool together 3 days of the week and we have thoroughly enjoyed having Brooklyn in our home. The kids are all playing together well now and it is great for Ally to have a friend to play with everyday. It has been a blessing for us. It has also helped me practice getting 3 kid’s shoes on and 3 kids in the car, and 3 kids lunch…We are expecting an addition to our family in July. We are very excited and feel so blessed to have another child come into our family. (I will be 12 weeks along on Christmas day.)

We have been busy with church callings and have enjoyed serving others. It has been a blessing to us as we have been able to get to know people in our neighborhood through service. We are so thankful for the gospel this Christmas season and so treasure our testimonies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (
http://www.mormon.org). We know that Jesus Christ lived for us, suffered, and died for us so that we can live with Him and our families forever. May you all have a Merry Christmas and enjoy blessings throughout the next year! Merry Christmas!

Love,
Glen, Katherine, Ally and Isaac Murdoch (and baby #3)
