Hawaii Trip

This is our Hawaii Trip. We had such a great time. (I don't think the grandparents had quite as much fun as we did) But we really appreciate our parents for watching our kids while we were gone. We needed it! I have about 250 pictures of the trip and so it was hard to only put a few on here, but these are some highlights.

This is at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu.

This was in a botanical garden in Oahu.

This is on the Big Island on the Kona side.
This is a State Park or something, but we saw 4-5 sea turtles here. That was really neat.

I know scenic pictures are boring sometimes, but I took this picture, and I just love it. This was along the Road to Hana. (Maui)
In Maui, somewhere along the Road to Hana. It is a long, kind of windy road through the rainforests of Maui. We saw several waterfalls along the way. It was really cool!

This was in a rainforest in Hilo (on the big island), we thought these leaves were so cool. Look how big they are.
This is on the Big Island, at the Kilauea Crater. This is where the active volcano is. That night, we cruised by the coast and you could see the bright orange lava all over. It was pretty cool. You can see where it was flowing into the ocean.

This is at the Hawaii Temple, in Laie on the North Shore of Oahu. The temple was so pretty that night, with the sunset and clouds.

This was on the North Shore of Oahu, just next to Turtle Bay Resort.

This was on Kauai. We were hiking aruond on these lava rocks trying to find some "secret pools." It was fun hiking around, but we didn't really find the pools we were looking for. But, the tide may have been too high. I also slipped on a rock here and scratched up my legs pretty bad. :)

This was at Hanama Bay in Oahu. This is a really cool place to snorkel. It is a State Park.

We saw several Sea Turtles, they look so graceful when they are swimming.
This was on the Kona side of the Big Island.
This is on the Northern part of Maui.
It was a really cool drive around the north west part of Maui.

The Big Island, close to Hilo. There are several rainforests and waterfalls.
